ELIE SAAB Fall/Winter 2015
If I had the privilege to choose one designer to wear everyday for the rest of my life, I wouldn't even think twice, it would be ELIE SAAB indefinitely. I remember the very moment I fell in love with Elie Saab; I was watching E! Red Carpet when a stunning Mila Kunis walked the 2011 Oscars red carpet in the most elegant lilac dress. I was curious and so decided to do a little research which was when my overly ambitious and obsessive Elie Saab wedding dress fantasies begun. ( I won't even start on those wedding dresses!! - most certainly a future blog post)

Similar to Victoria's Secret, Elie Saab happens to the brain child of a MAN. It really is beyond me as Elie Saab designs are, hands down, the pinnacle of femininity where garments are concerned. Subtle and sophisticated yet striking and sultry, a woman should feel nothing less than at home in an Elie Saab design. I'm a sucker for simplicity and frankly, Elie (I like to thing we are on first name basis, besties really) is the master. First and foremost he designs for A LADY. Flattering silhouettes to celebrate her physique that wreaks all types of sexy yet so demure - mind explodes- ......listen before I hurt myself trying to put words together to justify this genius- here's a visual for you: do you remember that scene in Pretty Woman after Vivian went shopping and met with Edward later for a dinner date in a sexy little black dress. Do you remember thinking HOT DAMN when the camera focused on Viv?! Well that's Elie Saab entire brand in a nutshell.
Hot. Damn.
I hope this is making as much sense to you as it is to me lol.
So, Elie revealed his Fall/Winter 2015 RTW collection last week during Paris Fashion Week and of course - I AM IN LOVE- because he's infallible-DUH!
I've selected a FEW of my faves:
Now you try to tell me this man isn't designing with Goddesses in mind. Royalty. Regal. Opulence.
Delicate lace and chiffon dresses- pause- I don't even want to see that plunging neckline lace dress in white (sweet angelic matrimony business, nuh true? )
& these ombre pieces, Elie darling I could kiss you. I really could
Delicious Dark Florals.
& Posh Plum
Oh and these cuts come with floating powers -by the way.
Glorious Emerald and Oxblood color palette. Chunky jewelled belts and necklaces.
Dude.
I have so much respect for this designer's attention to detail. With every piece you can see that so much thought was put into ensuring pure perfection. It really is a pleasure to see a designer present simple, effortless and timeless collections. In 2210, Elie Saab will still be relevant and that is not something I can say for many other designers.
SO- that's why everyday, could (should) be an Elie Saab day.
Do Good, Dress Well
