Her Name Is Vivian

Maybe if I were a 60s baby my name would be Vivian. I think. Or maybe its the polka dot shorts, retro glasses and laying in bed watching Pretty Woman this weekend for the umpteenth time that got to my head. Whatever the case, it seems  plausible - to me atleast :)


When I received these ZeroUV sunnies I knew the first time I wore them I would do so with the simplest outfit to make sure they really steal the show. So here, a sheer button up, polka dot shorts and capped pump- for it doesn't get much simpler than this. (Is it owning the ensemble?)





After the shoot I wished I had worn some taupe Maryjane pumps I have- which would probably have gone better with this but that is what happens when you put your super high heels to the back of your closet. They're forgotten! I hate when that happens. Don't you?







Sidenote: I am flat-footed, i.e. I was born with no arch. Not only does this mean I cant join the army (because apparently our feet cant handle the pressure of marching or standing for long periods) but - I also cant wear many shoes styles without it looking awkward. Unfortunately even an avid online shopper, like myself, cant always gauge whether the shoes will be too narrow for my feet. These day though, I could really care less (ish) ....so if I like it- I buy it and it happens to be a bit too weird-looking like the ones I have on in this post- I just deal and wear it anyhow. Why?  'Cause, I BOUGHT IT. Thats Why!

      Thanks love! I find that I wear shorts too much lol- JA is just so hot sometimes I really can't avoid it
